Nail art inspired by my favorite J-Crew bracelet!

People stared at me even more than they usually do when I was trying to take this picture on the train haha

Tomoko’s Nails
Tomoko, a Japanese girl at the dorm always admires my nails so I promised I would paint hers before we went out Friday night :)

Bows and Lace
All the fashion here is very girly; lace, bows, pastels, poof. I found some little bow stickers at this weird little store called Donkihote (yeah that’s how they spell it) and just ran with it.

Cupcake Nails!
Sorry about the lack of posting recently I am studying abroad in Tokyo for the next for months and I’ve been getting situated here. I don’t have an oven so I won’t really have the chance to bake, although I did find some great cookie in a coffee mug recipes that I will have to try. I will however, keep painting my nails! Right now it’s helping to keep me sane even with all the culture shock that’s going on.
If you want to know what I’m doing in Japan here’s the link to my study abroad blog : http://tallintokyo.tumblr.com/
Enjoy!

Cake batter pretzels!
I had some extra almond bark after making cake batter truffles. So I took 3 squares of almond bark and stirred in 4 tablespoons of yellow cake mix. Then I dipped small pretzel rods in the mixture and added sprinkles. So simple but so amazing!
